Tevet Process Control Technologies Ltd. was established in 1999. The founders are semiconductor industry veterans with long experience in both semiconductor manufacturing and fab process technology. Tevet was born from its founding team's memory of struggling to run process modules in fabs while suffering from inadequate process control. Tevet was founded to make fab process control work right.

Tevet's vision is to create process control products that are fast, precise, inexpensive, robust, and virtually maintenance-free. Tevet has been supported from its earliest days by fabs that agreed with and nurtured this vision and now have adopted Tevet products.

Tevet developed a proprietary measurement technology and introduced its unique In-Situ Thickness Measurement System (IsTMS) in 2001. The IsTMS is an innovative measurement and signal processing engine based on revolutionary thickness de-convolution algorithms. Tevet's Large Spot Size, Broad Band Fourier Transform Reflectometry (LSB-FTR) combined with the IsTMS approach created a new product class. Tevet introduced the ability to monitor thicknesses of multiple adjacent films in complex IC device structures within the die simultaneously.

Tevet's products enable measurements to be performed within a process tool's platform and with seamless integration to its hardware and software, on stationary or moving product wafers. Tevet products do not have moving parts, do not require pattern recognition and complex vision systems and are insensitive to vibration, providing the best ROI: highest reliability and fastest metrology. Tevet's integrated metrology module has been qualified for integration on Novellus 300 mm tools as well as other leading process tool manufacturers. Multiple Tevet systems are installed in leading logic and memory production fabs performing integrated film monitoring of critical films. Tevet has changed the model for integrated metrology with a 5X advantage in speed, reliability, and cost.

Tevet operations leverage a technology and manufacturing center in Israel and a customer business center in California. Tevet's team draws strength from its Israel optical physics and spectral analysis center of excellence and USA device and equipment development insight. Tevet sells and supports its products through its offices in Israel and the U.S. and through a global distribution network of representatives and distributors.
